Global Esports transfers hellFF to Velocity Gaming
Global Esports have completed the transfer of Sagnik “hellFightR“ Roy to team Velocity Gaming. This change comes after what is said to be a poaching situation between the two organizations.
hellFightR a.k.a hellFF is a professional Valorant player who was recently announced as a member of Global Esports’ Valorant lineup.
On October 08th the organization announced that they had decided to bench hellFF from the active lineup with immediate effect. Rushindra Sinha, Founder and CEO of Global Esports clarified, “Within weeks of signing with us Sagnik Roy aka hellFF has decided he wants to break his contractual obligations to join VLT after being approached by Sabyasachi Bose aka Antidote to join VLT.”
He furter said, “hellFF wasn’t the only player approached by our competitor, but the only one they managed to convince.”

As of October 09th, Global Esports have completed the transfer and Sagnik “hellFightR” Roy will be a 6th man for Velocity Gaming’s Valorant roster.
In a Instagram post, Global Esports announced the transfer, “After a discussion between the management team & the players, both organizations came to the verdict to do a player transfer from GE to VLT.”
“Velocity Gaming has officially bought out HellFF’s player contract through the proper channels and we are happy to be working toward building a systemic culture in esports and set benchmarks that all other players and orgs can abide by.”
Rushindra Sinha, Founder and CEO of Global Esports commented on the same post saying, ”At Global Esports, we understand that a player always comes first as it always has been the case for us so as per the players wishes we have completed all the formalities to officially transfer him and wish Sagnik Roy and Velocity Gaming, VLT.Sentinel all the best ”
To which, VLT.Sentinel replied, “Rushindra Sinha thank you, together we grow our IGC[Indian Gaming Community]”
The above few statements might make you think that it’s all merry again between the two organizations, but that’s just an outside perspective. Things could still be sour between these two organizations.
Velocity Gaming also posted on Instagram saying, “We are proud to welcome the newest member of the VLT family. Sagnik “HellFighter” Roy joins our ranks and we are super excited to be working with him. Here’s to the crazy clutches and bright future ahead! Thank you Global Esports for the quick resolution and professionalism throughout the process”
Many had speculated that hellFF will replace Vibhor on team VLT as they both play similar roles and agents. But, at least for now that’s not happening. Manoj “VLT.Sentinel” Kasyap, owner of Team Velocity Gaming, has confirmed it by stating “He’s [Vibhor] is still a part of Velocity Gaming, we don’t leave one of our own behind, no matter what”
There are rumours that Vibhor “Vibhor” Vaid from VLT will not be playing the PvP Esports Championship Regional Finals and hellFF will be stepping in to replace Vibhor for the tournament.
