Team Mahi adds popular Indian CSGO Player Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik to their Valorant roster

Team Mahi has signed popular Indian CSGO player Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik to their Valorant roster. Yes, you read it right. He is switching to Valorant.

Team Mahi recently went under an unexpected change recently as Karan ‘Excali’ Mhaswadkar joined Samurai Esports while still being under contract with Team Mahi. Basically a case of breach of contract.

After Excali’s departure, the 6 man Team Mahi still had 5 players to compete with. Many were wondering if the team would go on with their core 5 or will they bring in another player into the lineup. It’s been just a few days since the incident with Excali and Team Mahi has already brought in a new player.

With Excali’s exit and now with Marzil added to the team the lineup is as follows:

  • Anuj ‘Amaterasu’ Sharma (Team Captain & IGL)
  • Tejas ‘rite2ace’ Sawant
  • Sagnik ‘hellFF’ Roy
  • Vibhor ‘Vibhor’ Vaid
  • Sabyasachi ‘antidote’ Bose
  • Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik
  • Adarsh ‘EupHoria’ Singh (Team Manager)

We reached out to Lalith a.k.a ‘TM.CK’ co-owner of Team Mahi asking for his comments on this signing. “We are happy with the addition of marzil to the line-up. He will be practicing with the team and once he is all ready you can see him playing the official matches.” he said.

We asked Lalith, the co-owner if the organization was considering Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik as a potential player before the Excali incident.

Lalith said, “No, we were not considering him before excali. It was a decision we made after the excali incident happened. Nevertheless marzil into our line-up is a great boost and i can see the fans are also very happy and eagerly waiting to see marzil in action.
