Top 5 most anticipated upcoming games of 2021

Seasonally, games are produced in such varying degrees of quality that not a single one of them is destined for certain success. Some of them reach the magnum opus while others are a complete disaster, series are born while others dwindle and, occasionally, one that lives up to our expectations.

Here is a list of the 5 most anticipated games coming in 2021: –

Hitman 3:

Hitman 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of assassination series as Agent 47 returns to cap off the finale. Like the previous series’ previous games, Hitman 3 is a stealth game played from a third-person perspective. The base game features six new locations, including Dubai, which was declared alongside the game, and Dartmoor, England. Maps, levels, and progress from previous installments of the series can be imported to Hitman 3.

Much to the online community’s eerie, the games do not feature multiplayer modes with Sniper Assassin being purely single-player, and Ghost Mode is removed entirely. The game is expected to be “a lot more mature, serious and darker” than previous installments in the trilogy, as per the developers. 

Far Cry 6:

Far Cry is back with its sixth game of the series, expected to be released on February 18, 2021. Ubisoft’s first-person shooter game is set on Yara, a fictional Caribbean island. This island is ruled as a dictatorship by “El Presidente” Antón Castillo (played by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito), who is raising his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to follow in his rule.

The player takes the role of a guerrilla fighter as he/she pursues to plunge Castillo and his regime. Fangs for Hire system would be present in the game but deviates a little from previous Far Cry games as it will feature the series’ first-ever city setting.

Outriders:

Outriders is an upcoming 1-3 player RPG shooter, outline by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. It is set to be released on February 2, 2021. Set on the dark and hopeless alien planet Enoch, humanity’s effort to colonize turned chaotic as the expedition team ran into a massive energy storm known as “The Anomaly“, during their search for a mysterious signal – which may indicate hope for humanity’s future. The storm grants both Enoch’s inhabitants and the colonist’s superpowers. 

Brand-new franchises of this measure are considerably uncommon these days, and after the introduction of the new console generation indicates endless possibilities that can be unraveled.

The game is altogether a new IP and incorporates class-system and character customizations that allow players to create their own unique characters and choose from four classes. Each of them has unique abilities that the players can utilize. The four categories comprise “Trickster,” which has the strength to mold time, the “Pyromancer,” which can manipulate fire, the “Devastator,” which can wreak seismic attacks, and the “Technomancer.”

Age of Empires 4:

Age of Empires 4 is outlined by Relic Entertainment, creators of the famous “The Company of Heroes series” and other cherished strategy games. The first new entry to the series in well over ten years – AoE 3 was released in 2005.

AoE 4 won’t take the series into a sole-era but rather will fuse various armies from former games such as Native Americans, British Redcoats, Roman Legionaries, Japanese Samurai, and others.  

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE – BLOODLINES 2:

Welcome to the Dark World of Goth, night-clubs, monsters, werewolves, demons, and Vampires as the follow-up to 2004’s awesome Vampire: The Masquerade – The bloodlines is coming in 2021. It’s an action role-playing video game developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive. 

The story revolves around a human hailing from 21st-century Seattle, killed and resurrected as a thinblood vampire who holds comparatively weaker vampire abilities. Bloodlines 2 is marked on FPS Perspective; it switches to third-person for contextual activities. Moreover, VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE – BLOODLINES 2 brings the first game elements while improving the technical aspects like the combats, inspired by Dishonoured (a successful action-adventure game in 2012 created by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks).
