The title and trademark logo of the next installment in ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology’ has been revealed through a listing on Justia Trademarks first spotted by a Resetera user ‘AshenOne‘ (Thanks: TheGamer). .

The listing was filed by attorney Maya L. Tarr on June 28 with a detailed description of the trademark logo and it seems that the process has been initialized on July 1.

There’s not much known about the new installment yet but the title suggests that it might involve demonic possession.

The trademark description specifically mentions, “The letter V in the word DEVIL is stylized, with a magnifying glass attached to the bottom of the letter V.” Also, if you look closely at the logo, the V looks like a chain or necklace with the magnifying glass. Perhaps the main protagonist could be a detective or investigator.

It’s still a long way as the third installment, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is yet to release. Hose of Ashes will be coming out on October 22 this year. You can checkout the story trailer here:

As Supermassive likes to drop hints of next installments with every The Dark Pictures Anthology game, it’s like we will get some hints about the next one in House of Ashes. When House of Ashes does come out, we might get to see some easter eggs and even a post-credits scene that will shed light on the plot of the fourth installment.
