PUBG: New State Game Might Not Be Available in India

Here comes the sequel to PUBG Mobile:

Krafton Inc. recently announced the release of the brand new game, PUBG: New State. The first look of the game was shared through a YouTube video. The short clip reveals a bit of the story, gameplay and graphics of the upcoming game. In resemblance to the original PUBG game, this game will also witness a face-off among 100 survivors to the point when only one team or one player will remain in the battleground. The pre-registrations for the game are live now for Android via Play Store and will go live on App Store for Apple users later. Pre-registered players will get a limited vehicle skin permanently. However, there exist uncertainties regarding whether it would be available in India. PUBG: New State is not available in India.

The PUBG ban in India:

On 2nd September 2020, PUBG: Mobile and over 100 Chinese apps were banned by the Indian Government. It was asserted that the apps were unethically transferring user data to servers positioned outside India. At that time, India was the largest market of the game. It comprised 24% of global users and accounted for around 175 million downloads.

It is unlikely that PUBG: New State will get banned in India, if it does get released. “Why?”, you might ask. The reason is that the new version of PUBG Mobile apparently has not been developed in China.
