The Program:

The 6 selected members will be in the program over a span of 3 months which comprises a course which will help them get better at multiple aspects of the game.

The program will help the 6 individuals by molding into team players and focusing on their growth as a player. The curriculum of the program is designed by Prashant ‘Aequitas’ Prabhakar. Aequitas is a former professional player who is the current CEO of SoStronk and has worked with Entity Gaming, Paper Rex and Signify in the past.

The head coach for the program will be Agneya ‘Marzil’ Koushik. Marzil is a popular face in the Indian CSGO scene who currently plays for Bl4ze Esports. He is an experienced veteran player who has played for teams like Signify, Entity Gaming, and even for Optic India in the past.

This initiative by ROG will help improve the Indian CSGO scene. Newer individuals also will get a chance to showcase their skill. The program will definitely benefit the scene and help esports grow in India.

For now the ROG Academy program is only for CSGO. We might also see similar programs implemented for other esports titles such as Valorant, CODM & Free Fire in the future. It all probably lies on the success of this program.
