Redmi’s Exclusive Gaming Smartphone is all set to arrive in 2021
The smartphone giants recently declared enthralling news for all the gaming fanatics. Redmi is all set for the launch of its “first gaming smartphone”. Yes, you heard it Right! The phone would feature the new processor from MediaTek, Dimensity 1200.
Redmi is a famous and most-loved name in the world of budget smartphones. Though currently, the company’s vast product portfolio includes computers and televisions, budget smartphones remain the company’s cornerstone.
Recently, in a Weibo post, the General Manager of Redmi, Lu Weibing, shared the news about the company focussing on esports. As per the post, the gaming smartphone would be available at an irresistible price. The company is also on its way to introduce a budget gaming smartphone that is yet to hit the smartphone market. The post also confirmed that the company’s new flagship is also all set for its launch this year.
The new breakthrough processor
A 6nm chipset, this processor comes with four Cortex A55 cores and four Cortex A78 cores. The main Cortex A78 core has a clock speed of 3.0GHz. The Mali G77 MC9 GPU should be able to handle different games. The processor will have 5G support and come with a display of 168Hz, Artificial Intelligence, improved gaming, and many other attractive features.
Expectations of the users?
Avid smartphone users would expect this gaming smartphone to have a significantly high refresh rate. The display and the battery should also be of bigger capacity for the smooth functioning of the games. Additional features like shoulder buttons and super-quick charging are also expected.
Moreover, Redmi’s decision to enter the gaming smartphone conflict is intriguing, also for the consumers hoping to unravel and select from more affordable range.
