Yes, Naughty Dog, the studio behind the Uncharted & The Last of Us video game series, is once again hiring for its new standalone multiplayer game.
This time, the studio has posted job listing for the position of Multiplayer Level/Environment Designer and Gameplay Scriptwriter. (Thanks VGC)

This is a rare opportunity to make an impact in your discipline and craft an experience that will be enjoyed and shared by millions of players around the world.”, says the listing.
Naught Dog had also posted a job listing for the role of an multiplayer economy designer a while back which many were speculating to be Factions, a multiplayer based on The Last of Us universe. The game was supposed to come out as a mode to The Last of Us 2, but Naughty Dog decided to release the game without the mode, as the mode was too ambitious to be added to the game. The plan was to release Factions as a standalone multiplayer later down the line and maybe the job listings are for just that.
There’s no way of knowing if the standalone game is indeed Factions, as there is no mention about it in the job description. With this new standalone multiplayer project, Naught Dog is entering uncharted territories and maybe hence they don’t want to reveal anything just yet.
