DOTA: Dragon’s Blood Season 1 trailer revealed
The trailer for Season 1 of DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is out now and it showcases what could be some of the most interesting encounters in the series. DOTA: Dragon’s Blood is an 8 episode animated series revolving around the story of Davion, the Dragon Knight, a hero from DOTA 2.
Now with the trailer’s release we have more details on the series than before. We have seen some of the lead characters, although we don’t know their names yet.
At various points throughout the trailer you will see the protagonist face dragons. The trailer reveals that there’s also a war.
Animation for the series is from Studio MIR, a South Korean animation studio based in Seoul. The studio has worked on some interesting projects in the past, such as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Origins, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf Anime Film, The Legend of Korra and more.
DOTA 2 is still one of the most popular games from Valve, but it has seen some decline in player base over the recent years. This series looks like an attempt to fix it by sharing the DOTA 2 universe to a larger audience and bringing old fans back to the game.
The synopsis reads, “A conflicted yet courageous Dragon Knight must use the power of the dragon within to stop a deadly demon in this epic fantasy based on the online game[DOTA 2].“
DOTA: Dragon’s Blood will launch on Netflix on March 25.
