During the recent Halo Infinite technical preview, a dataminer found a sound clip for what seems like a battle-royale mode. It is a voice clip and the voice seems to be of Jeff Steitzer, Halo’s multiplayer announcer.

Some on the forum have speculated that the voice clip could’ve been recorded in advance for a potential mode that 343 Industries could be releasing in the future. While others think that it could be an unused asset that belongs to a mode that could’ve been scrapped, or the developer recorded it “just in case”.
The Resetera user also said that it it might just be a simple game mode. Perhaps a last man standing game mode? There are multiple possibilities.
We don’t have any solid information on this yet. We just might have to wait till 343 Industries or Microsoft make an official announcement.
